- Calling All Cars is a classic early police drama. The show portrayed true crime stories of the Los Angeles Police Department from the 30's. This is one of the earlier Old Time Radio Programs, airing from 1933 to 1939.

- The Campbell Playhouse had it's beginnings in the Mercury Theater On The Air program. After being on the air for six months, Mercury Theater gained a sponsor, Campbell Soups. Thus as was the custom then, the show title was changed to reflect the sponsors name. The Campbell Playhouse show aired on CBS with the first show of the series coming on December 12, 1938. The show lasted until June 13, 1941. The directors were Orson Welles (12/09/38 to 03/31/40) and George Zachary (11/29/40 to 06/13/41). The producer was John Houseman. Orson Wells was the host.

- Challenge of the Yukon (414)
- Challenge of the Yukon began as a 15-minute serial, airing locally from 1938 until May 28, 1947. Shortly thereafter, the program acquired a sponsor, Quaker Oats, and the series, in a half-hour format, moved to the networks. The program aired on ABC from June 12, 1947 to December 30, 1949. It was then heard on The Mutual Broadcasting System from January 2, 1950 through the final broadcast on June 9, 1955. The title changed from Challenge of the Yukon to Sergeant Preston of the Yukon in November 1951, and remained under that name through the end of the series and into television. Adventure

- The Chamber Music Society of Lower Basin Street was a musical variety radio program which began on the Blue Network in 1940. The magazine Radio Life described it as "one of radio's strangest offsprings... a wacky, strictly hep tongue-in-cheek burlesque of opera and symphony." It was a weekly half-hour of jazz, played by leading practitioners of the day. The format was a dry satire of the stuffy symphonic and operatic broadcasts announced by the dignified Milton Cross.

- The Chase is an exciting Old Time Radio series in which every episode contains, well, a chase. Tales, highly melodramatic and often improbable, of people on the run. The concept of "hunter and hunted" was built into the signatures. with the lone bugle of a fox hunt, the braying of dogs, the sounds of a man running, a gunshot, and the slowing footsteps and eventual fall of the victim. It may be an adventure story, a crime story, or even science fiction, but there will always be a suspense.

- The Chase and Sanborn Hour was the umbrella title for a series of US comedy and variety shows, sponsored by Standard Brands' Chase and Sanborn Coffee, usually airing Sundays on NBC from 8pm to 9pm during the years 1929 to 1948.
- Chesterfield Supper Club (10)
- The Chesterfield Supper Club began on December 11, 1944 as a 15-minute radio program, airing at 7pm weeknights on the NBC Radio Network. This musical variety show was sponsored by Chesterfield cigarettes and featured live musical performances. Perry Como hosted The Chesterfield Supper Club (NBC-Radio 1944-50) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, while Jo Stafford was the host on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Beginning in 1948, singer Peggy Lee was added to the roster, taking over the Thursday broadcast.
